The thing is, even with a championship game you don't always get the two best teams in the conference because of the divisional format.

College football is a great sport, but the system in which it operates continues to have flaws.

We beat a team in Illinois that eventually became bowl eligible like 55-14 or something. Playing our backup QB the entire second half. And basically running the clock for most of the 4th. And they still have their starting QB in....against a 2-9 team....up 45 points. I want to have enough faith in the committee to see through it, but probably not.
