No, that is the way the media is writing it. I think the committee is much more intelligent. They don't just read newspaper clippings for their rankings. They kept the Buckeyes at #6 despite a narrow victory against Indy.

Everyone saw how just inept Texas is. It would be like OSU beating down Purdue.
