Funny thing is, if they hadn't laid an egg at Northwestern they'd be right in the thick of the playoff talk with their early close loss to LSU.

Funnier thing is, at this point in the season if every team got an "if" the whole picture could be 100% different.

Can't see the game but it seems reality has set in at Madison and the Badgers will be our opponent, as expected. Defense better buckle their chin straps and get after Gordon - make Stave beat us.

Stave did put together two long passes yesterday. Given an open field, he can throw the ball.

Well, he did grow up in Ohio (East Liverpool), go to college in Ohio (Kent State), and coached one year under Woody (1968).
