2014 NFL Week 6 Open Thread

 I'm going with the blind squirrel theory for the Cowboys this year...

It's no coincidence that they finally have a decent offensive line and can run the football, and they're 5-1. Too many years they lived and died with just throwing it up and trying to outscore people - we know how that turned out.

If they keep playing the way they're playing they'll win more games. That formula has worked in the NFL forever. If they revert to their old ways, the old results will return.

This. Its no coincidence that Jerrah stopped with his maniacal picks, decided to build a dominant Oline and then the Cowboys win games.

Their defense will eventually cost them. For as inspired and disciplined as they play, the talent itself needs an upgrade. However Rolando McClain left the NFL and came back a different person and player. Incredible.

I agree with you about the offense... my comment was more in reference to the D.... that D is a ticking timebomb... one injury and it might be a complete train wreck... if its not... Rod Marinelli deserves are raise to about $10M a year for what he's done with what he's had to work with.
