Well, KC had the better record (marginally) and were home, so I guess it's fitting.

Wasn't really rooting for or against either.

Perez just threw his bat on it with a prayer. Donaldson missed it by inches. Amazing the fine line of victory. Still think Anaheim is going to smash them though.

My wife grew up in Topeka and was a huge George Brett fan. This glass dated 1981 had mojo tonight. Also hilarious that Perez, who was garbage at the plate the whole night ends up being the hero.
