But it was a beauty of a game. Matt Millen said so himselfttun vs. psu (combined stats)
51% of passes completed
2.4 yards per carry
21% of 3rd downs completed
4 interceptions
3 fumbles lost
118 penalty yards
Hey, don't give them the credit. Give it to that offensive line. There will be blood....Fitz 27 carries for 27 yards. Green 3 carries 1 yard.

Re: A couple postgame Hoke Quick-hitters
We played not to lose the entire 4th qtr. the delay of game in the 4th with under a minute that took us out of FG range (that and the 3 yard loss by Fitz) is a joke. Big time coaches, big time QBs and big time programs/teams don't make that mistake.
How was there no flag for grounding on 3rd and 14 when Hackenberg was in the pocket and threw the ball away - it was 5 yards short of the LOS and 9 yards from #1. If you remember, they kicked a FG on 4th and 14 to cut the lead to 7.
Why was a freshman covering one of the B1G's best WR with 27 secs left to go in the game?
Why did Justice Hayes go out of bounds with 7 seconds left in the 4th instead of gaining 4-5 more yards on the sideline ? Actually, why was Hayes in the game?
Why was Matt Wile not called on to kick the 53 yarder at the end of regulation? That was the case in past seasons.
Why when we had a chance to win in OT did we run left, run right, and then lose 4 yards with DG trying to center the all?
How did we take ANOTHER delay of game penalty in OT?
How did Gibbons miss that FG?
Why did we play not to lose instead of playing to win?
Why did our RBs have 30 carries for 28 yards (and don't say Lewan - we can't run with him in there either)?
There were some positives...Matt stepped up big playing LT in place of Lewan. DL played well in spurts. We caused and created turnovers. We had 3 chances to win the game.
Borges is terrible. So boring. Not creative. Old fashion type of coach.
I still respect the hell out of home but he needs to stop coaching the DL and start focusing on coaching the team. Those 2 delay of games were killers (3 total...really 4...refs missed one on DGs INT)...he has to be in the game, he should be calling the time out if DG isn't capable.
It's so much better listening to a rival's fan base want to off themselves than to hear us griping.
Funniest of that thread:

That was the comment of the night. Like they were highly ranked teams or something. I mean they do play, uh, nm."Once in a lifetime..."
Yeah, it's good for shits and grins, but for the long term interest of Ohio State and the Big Ten... what a sad commentary. That was the comment of the night. Like they were highly ranked teams or something. I mean they do play, uh, nm.

Yeah, it's good for [Mark May]s and grins, but for the long term interest of Ohio State and the Big Ten... what a sad commentary.
Two teams you expect to be able to play with any SEC team, put on a pathetic show of college football- in prime time. The only athlete worth mentioning at the end of it all was Hackenberg.
Kudo's to Buttchin Bob. Using duct tape and sealing wax, he managed to pull off the upset. One wonders what Nurse Diesel has to say about him this week.
Unfortunately any slip by OSU from here on out and the Big Ten will find itself with 1 BCS Bowl game, and that's a gimmee to the Rose.
At some point in time, when you know that the league has solid academics, world-class facilities, 3 100K Stadiums (and 2 more at 80K), plus their own media network, you have to wonder why the product on the field is so lacking.
