2013 Week 3 B1G FB Open Thread

Wow, what a horrible play for Nebraska. Tackling has gotten horrible across the country

Can't put up 60 points a game if teams played defense. And if you don't put up 60 points you don't move up in the polls. So why play defense when you can have your offense on the field more often by letting the other team score quickly?

TD UCLA. Come on Cornballs.

BTW, the knocks against Gardner still ring true. Midway through game 3, he's already turned the ball over 6 times (5 INT, 1 Fumble). He can make some really nice plays, but much like hairlice, he can be pretty careless with the ball. 6 Td against 5 INT with two of your games against patsies is ugly. No other way to spin it.

I don't know if it's him taking the patsies too lightly or what. He played really well against ND, but looks like the turnover machine he did against us and S Carolina at the end of last season. If they don't fix that, he will single-handedly cost them a few games this year.

Sounds like Coach Kill had another seizure on the sidelines. Hope he's OK. :(

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Gophers football coach Jerry Kill suffered an epileptic seizure on the sidelines as his team headed to the locker room at halftime Saturday against Western Illinois.
Kill, who has battled epilepsy for the last two decades, was immediately tended to by the team's medical staff. The medical staff stayed with him for several minutes, waiting for the brunt of the seizure symptoms to subside.
Kill was put on a stretcher and taken off the field via the trainers cart.
