2013 Week 15/16 CFB Open Thread

Ill be honest and say that I haven't watched a Louisville game all year. His numbers are very impressive, and so was that throw. From what I read though there are still a lot of question marks on him.

Personally, the one QB I like that isn't getting as much pub as he deserves is Blake Bortles. Ive watched about 5-6 UCF games this season and he is impressive. I also like their runningbacks, Storm Johnson and Stanbeck. I could easily see all three of those in the NFL.
Maybe his supporting cast brings him down. He does look good this 4th quarter now. Very on point and in control.

Bridgewater is good, but he's not the ZOMG September Heisman!!11!1 everyone seemed to be making him out to be, at least from what I've seen.

Completely agree with the comment about Bortles. Went to two games in person and have watched several more on TV the last two seasons, and he is a great QB in that system. I don't know enough to extrapolate beyond UCF, but I've been impressed, especially this year.

Oh Palmer... retard extraordinaire and Mr. Moxy.

I think out of the three of them Palmer is the worst. He comes off pompous and doesn't seem to anything original to say.

I think Reece is the most middle-of-the-road ESPiN analyst. He usually sticks up for the Buckeyes when Mark May opens his fat mouth. But tonight I haven't agreed with much he has had to say.

David Pollack IMO is a pretty good announcer/analyst. Ive watched him on Gameday all season long and he is doesn't just nod and agree with the rest of the idiots on set. He will make an opinion and stand up for it even if its different from the rest of the crew. You can tell he was a defensive player in the same way you can tell Spielman was (if you didn't know he was).

I honestly can't tell the difference between Reece Davis and Chris Fowler half the time. They're fairly even-handed as things go there.
Palmer is the kind of guy that loves the sound of his own voice. I imagine it's gotta be rough having him and Herbie on the set at the same time... so much narcissism.
Pollack is just another SEC shill to me.

I don't have a problem with Pollack being an SEC shill. I have a problem with the fact that he's pretty much an ass. Whenever he is on a studio set in a panel setting he's rude, dismissive, and talks over everybody else, like he's genuinely offended that anyone would ever disagree with him.
