I know I should be more optimistic going into the game this weekend. But who has the Huskers played since losing to Minny?

Northwestern.
and TSUN.

I won't be convinced until they stop someone worth some salt. That might not happen unless they get to the championship game. And guess who would be waiting on us when we got there.......

I don't care what anybody says. When it comes to 'running up the score', I take the Mike Leach approach to that, and apparently ULM does as well.

Poor Bo. He got a stay of execution with a hail Mary against Northwestern, caught Michigan the week after "Little Brother" took them to the woodshed, but I don't see Bo winning this week. Sparty's offense gets better each week. Can't say the same for Nebraska's defense, though it sure was fun watching Michigan march down the field backwards.

Speaking of teams marching backwards... Northwestern - Michigan seems to be a coin flip. If the Mildcats have enough players back to win at home we could see Hoke's image hanging from a tree even before The Game.

Purdue at Penn State... speaking of effigies hanging from trees, if the Boilers could pull this off.... naaa. even with 20 less bodies Penn State has enough to keep the Boiler Down.

Wisconsin will just plain kill Indiana at Madison.

The Gallopin' Ghost's boys gave up a ton of points to Indiana (!!!), what will they do against the Buckeyes? Maybe they don't give up another 52, but they ain't gonna score 35 either. This could be the ugliest game of the weekend.

Looks like NW has settled on applying for a medical redshirt for Mark.
They need 2 wins from ttun, MSU, and Illinois to go bowling... where they'd get those 2 wins is kind of obvious imo, so I'm sure they all know they have to go all out here.
With 2 weeks to prepare and having ttun's flaws laid bare for all to see... I'm really hoping NW shows up and plays lights out again. If they don't, it'll be a disgrace to the special uniform they'll be wearing.

While I'd love to see Northwestern win, the only way you can disgrace those uniforms is to actually wear them.

As a Vet, I don't have a problem with anything that benefits the Wounded Warrior project.
And I think most of the media is overblown bs from civilians that vote to send us to bs wars and get sanctimonious about it, but will never put their own life on the line.
The same kind of people who put up American flags to show their faux patriotism, but don't hire vets.
