Does anyone have any idea when the home games go on sale via ticketmaster? I have asked them a few times and I only recieve canned / unhelpful responses.

Season ticket owners have the rights to any leftover public tickets that might be available.
That sale usually happens 1-2 days prior to general public sale.
The ticket sale should be in mid August, but as previously mentioned season ticket owners will get the best remaining.
There usually will be leftover tickets for sale, but not for "premium" opponents.

In the past an email would be sent containing a presale code to use on ticketmaster.

Email usually shows up 1-2 days previous to on sale date.

Thanks for the info! My dad is a season ticket holder. I'm going to see what is available.

Ok, thanks. I will start following up in late July. I can usually get singles to about any game that route, just sometimes have to run a search half dozen times a day before one pops up.

But this year want to take my wife to one, so want to try to score a pair the minute general sales go live.

Actually last year the tickets went on sale to the Buckeye Club members from 8-10 AM and then opened up to the general public at 10 AM on Tuesday, Aug 8. I still have email confirmations from my purchases. So we may be only a month away.
