God help me, I am actually hoping Bucky and their douche/ass coach in this one. Can you imagine the embarrassment for Stanford and the Pac if they lose? Besides that, I bet that if Stanford rolls, the press will use it as an example of how "weak" the B1G is, even though Wisky has no business being the representative.

Of course douche/ass will fuck it up by switching a gameplan that is working for one that sucks during the second half. That is his MO.

I think the style of the two teams lends itself to a close game.

Whatever the outcome may be, it doesn't change the fact Wisconsin is a 5 loss, 3rd place team that got into the Rose Bowl due to an extraordinary set of circumstances.

Wisconsin is completely one-dimensional. They can run for 3 parsecs against teams with no defense, but against teams that can slow/stop the run they're toast.

No defense --
Indiana: 62 points and 564 yards rushing (8.8 ypc)
Nebraska: 70 points (63 offensive) and 539 yards rushing (10.8 ypc)

Defense --
Michigan State (#8 rush defense): 13 points and 19 yards rushing (0.5 ypc)
Ohio State (#13 rush defense): 14 points and 206 yards rushing (3.7 ypc)

Stanford has the #3 rushing defense in the country at 88 pards per game (2.8 ypc). Wisconsin is going to get shut down in the Rose Bowl...

No doubt Phillips will need to make some plays with both his arm and legs if they want to stay in it.

The thing is... The perception of a weak B1G is not going to go away unless the BIG magically pulls out Santa's bags of Holiday miracles during bowl games

With that said, screw what everyone else thinks about this year. Under "normal circumstances" I would root for the Badgers, but I just can't muster that B1G love this year.
