Ladies posted a 4-1 record, including going 1-1 head to head with #8/#9 Georgia.

THE MNCC was rough on the Buckeyes as they finished the tournament 2-3. However, a huge 6-0 smacking of 14th ranked Arizona was the highlight of the weekend. The Buckeyes are 9-6 overall with three wins over top 20 teams.

Buckeyes put on a clinic at the Cherry Blossom Classic at George Mason over the weekend. Winning all five games, four by shut out, and three by run rule. Buckeyes are now 18-8 overall.

League play begins this week as THE Buckeyes host Indiana Friday (3pm), Saturday (2pm), and Sunday (1pm).

Buckeyes win their opening B1G series against Indiana

Game 1 - 9-5 Ohio State was led by junior Evelyn Carrillo, who went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI, while classmate Leesa Gresham was 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored.

Game 2 - 4-6 (9) Junior Leesa Gresham was 2-for-5 with a double and run scored,

Game 3 - 8-2 Ohio State was led by Watkins, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, three runs scored and a season-high four RBI.

Buckeyes are 20-9 overall (2-1 in the B1G)

Next up: Three game series at Purdue March 29-31.
