Yeah but everyone knew the Dallas defense blew ass. The difference is Romo is supposed to be able to hang on to a 19 point lead by not throwing stupid passes. He could have had 5 INTs in the second half alone if there wasn't an overturn and a couple of wide open drops. What will be lost in the Romo hatefest is that the defense let Matt Flynn score touchdowns on every drive in the second half.
Join the resistance and stop paying attention to this [Mark May]show until Jerry Jones dies, Jake. You'll feel better.
Yes they could, though they likely won't win this week in Seattle. 10-6 is a reasonable goal though, and if not for Carolina's crazy winning streak, that would have been good enough. Still, a lot to build on for next year. They could go 11-5 and miss the playoffs. It sucks but that's what happens when you play in a really tough division.
He threw one stupid pass - the INT to Sam Shields after avoiding a sack. The overturned INT bounced off of Jason Witten and Beasley stopped running his route on the "typical Romo" INT at the end. Those were also his 8th and 9th INTs (2nd and 3rd in losses) of the season - fewest among QBs in the top 10 in attempts - yet the clusterfuck franchise is still 7-7. Probably because they do things like throw the ball 48 times and run it 18 times while up 19.Yeah but everyone knew the Dallas defense blew ass. Uh...OK. Sounds like a lot of excuses, which basically is what all his fanboys say when he fails repeatedly in the clutch. Of course he can't hold on to FG snaps either, but I guess there's probably an excuse for that too.He threw one stupid pass - the INT to Sam Shields after avoiding a sack. Romo has his moments of ineptitude, but over the years he's gotten an inordinate amount of [Mark May] for not being able to bail out his defense and coaching staff every time they fuck up, especially after he's put them in a position to win. Without Romo, they would be the 2000s Lions, which is why that was the only Dallas game I've bothered to watch all season.
Obviously I need to be more original in my football analysis, like ignoring when he wins games and bringing up botched snaps from seven years ago.Uh...OK. Never ignored any games, he is the Alex Rodriguez of football...plenty of regular season stats, lots of money, really flashy play...until it counts, of course. But please, feel free to provide original analysis of that one spectacular playoff win.Obviously I need to be more original in my football analysis, like ignoring when he wins games and bringing up botched snaps from seven years ago.
