nooooooooo, Brian Baker goes down with another injury as he had won first set against Querry..

this will most likely be surgery number 6...first knee injury though

really hope he has one more comeback left, I've met his family, great group of people

Fed v. Murray going to a 5th set.
Murray was up 2 sets to 1 and broke Fed at 5-5 in the 4th set.
Murray has dominated in holding serve the whole tourney but Fed broke back and won the breaker to force a 5th set.
Momentum Fed entering the 5th set, but the way both have been holding serve could be prolonged with no 5th set tie breaker.


Edit, Murray up an early break in the 5th set.

I don't like having 1 semi-final a full day before the other. Djokovic will be fully rested, with Murray having only 1 day to recover from a 5-setter.

Looks like it'll be 3 straight Aussie wins for the Djoker.

Agree with you BB73 re. the inequity in rest.
Seems like the organizers could play both women's semis on Thurs. and final on Sat.
Men's semis on Friday, final on Sunday.
There must be some kind of media pressure motivating the present alignment.
