2013 BPCFFB II Season Thread

It's one pick.....if that makes or breaks your season, then sorry about your luck lol. Not to mention this is a free league & cutting the draft short would've stuck it to those still needing to fill spots.

It is what it is, some planned for the draft the way it was set up. This year we took longer because we added two players, and because quite honestly some people decided to take their sweet time, when they well knew they were up. The 24 hour rule is to assist schedules, not a defense to think over your 11th round selection. Now MD has to get this thing set up in less than 48 hours... and oh yeah, we still have a bit to go. So this is certainly a way, may not be the best, but it needs to get done. And I have no problem even going very last... it really is not going to make a difference. If you haven't drafted the right players by now, you're likely not going to win, unless you make shrewd FA pick-ups in season. At this point the crap shot is just as equal now or 5 picks from now... hence crap shot.

Exactly. All this belly-aching over the integrity of the 225th thru 252nd pick is a bit much, especially with the lack of urgency in the months before this.

Penalizing users (especially those that were quick with their picks) and asking them to waste their waiver wire priority to pick up a kicker (or in mac's case, a 2nd kicker lol) or bye week fill-in is a much bigger problem than having an unfair slot to draft Mr. Irrelevant for your squad. Who you pick up in week 1 will matter far more than what guy you select that was ignored 220+ times.

Then you don't mind if we swap our picks this round, right? :p <---Not a fan of these new smilies -- Hurry up with the new ones, winslow!

(I'm not really angry about this -- my mind set has always been that a kicker won't make much difference -- just a bit agitated that it got to this point. And most annoyingly, that I get to suffer more than everyone else. So, yeah. I'm going to whine about for a while!)
