So what's the deal with the fire at the JFK Library right before the bombings? I don't seem to see anything definitively confirming or denying its connection, but significant fires in libraries are very rare. They said it started in a mechanical room, will be interesting to see what caused it and whether it was a total coincidence.

It appears the "suspicious substance" was not a balanced budget, but sarin toxin instead, as the letter received in the Senate yesterday.
Suspicious letter addressed to Obama has tested positive for ricin (as did letter to Sen Roger Wicker (R-MS)

• Capitol police are evacuating part of Hart Senate office building (first floor) because of a suspicious package

He does have a point. Whenever they find the bastard(s) that did this, whatever the person's face looks like is going to have a large effect on the way justice is carried out. I think that's a worthwhile topic for discussion. He brought it up in such a terrible manner though that it will be hard for that discussion to be taken seriously anytime soon.

On the way justice is carried out? I don't think so. I am referring to justice for the perp...meaning if it's a white guy or a black girl or an Asian...whatever, whoever detonated the bombs ain't getting mercy.

Now if you mean in the more general sense of what sort of effect it might have on societal responses like politicizing the event and "profiling" and the like, then there is an argument to be made in that direction...but as you say, it was such an awfully written pile of crap that such a discussion really won't be had.

Lone Wolf makes sense, yes...but no one is truly a lone wolf anymore. Everyone will be trying to assign said person political beliefs, governmental beliefs, racial beliefs, ethnic beliefs, immigration beliefs...all to prove that people who disagree with them are all just like the perp. I tend to agree with what the article leads you to, this is a series of pictures that is very suspicious and very likely the bomber

While everyone cowers instinctively, the man dressed in black (highlighted) runs away in the opposite direction to everyone else who was caught up in the blast.

As those caught up in the blast appear to help the stricken victims of the bombing - the man in black can be seen to make his way at speed away from the scene.
