It's worked several times this year....Thomas to center with no real threat down low from Wisconsin except a floor stretching 5.

Will be interesting to see if it creates any good looks offensively. It worked in spades against Northwestern and Indiana in short spurts.

I'd say that question has been answered. Against Northwestern Thomas was struggling until he switched to center and just abused them in the paint with spin moves and creating lanes for easy lay-ups.

Q is a really hard cover from the PF spot when DT is at the 5.

Yep, the only issue would be against teams with solid post up guys. We didn't try it against Sparty, and for good reason.

I've said it in another thread, but I agree with you. This 5 serves as a very good end of game matchup problem. Especially with the way our guards can defend and limit the opponents potential big advantage.

Ross showing out right now..

Wisky is trying to guard Thomas with Bruessewitz because they know Berrgren would get destroyed by Thomas on the perimeter. That leaves Berrgren on Q which is almost as bad when Q can put the ball on the deck.

It forces Wisky into a tough spot they don't like either. Wisky uses Berrgren offensively but in certain spots. They aren't ateam that likes to pound it into the post early in the clock and leta guy make a move. Not in their nature.

Thad is outcoaching them right now...
