It has now been eight seasons since Michigan won a Big Ten title in football.

Fun facts, the year Michigan last won the Big Ten title:

- The #1 movie that year: Shrek 2
- Record of the year: Clocks - Coldplay
- Friends and Frasier were airing their last episodes
- Earlier that year the nation was traumatized as Janet Jackson's nipple popped out during the Super Bowl
- George W. Bush is elected to a second term
- Facebook launches
- Twitter was still 2 years away
- US Troops fully occupy Fallujah for the first time
- An earthquake measuring 9.3 on the Richter scale hits off the coast of Southeast Asia, causing a massive Tsunami to devastate the coastal areas.
- Jerry Rice's record of 274 consecutive games with a pass reception comes to an end
- MLB announces the Montreal Expos will move to Wasthington D.C.
- The Detroit Pistons upset the Lakers to win the NBA finals 4-1
- Lance Armstrong wins his 6th consecutive Tour de France
- Phil Mickleson wins his first career major

It's been a while...is what I'm saying.

I hate these damned lists....half of what is on here happened well earlier in 2004 than the college football season did......

Hence why it was titled "The year Michigan last won the Big Ten title" and not "Since Michigan won the Big Ten title". Did they all happen in 2004? If you want to nitpick about 6-8% of the total time represented since the beginning of 2004, go to town.

Fun facts, the year Michigan last won the Big Ten title:

- BP finished the year with 1,642 total members.
- Terrelle Pryor, Recruiting Tidbits, Yahoo, Conference Expansion, and Penn State didn't have their own threads.
- Al Gore did. 59 pages.
- Al Gore would have had the biggest page on BP if Troy Smith hadn't made a furious charge in December by getting suspended before the Alamo Bowl.
- ScriptOhio was resurrecting 15 month old threads with irrelevant pics. They were the oldest threads he could find.
- Scarlet and Gray News hadn't launched yet.

Let's see here...

USC
LSU
Bama
scUM
Ntre Ame under fat boy
Oregon
Choklahoma
Texas
Oklahoma State.....

NFL is pretty easy to guess...
Pats for two years
Steelers for two years
Giants for two years
Saints, Packers and Colts one each

His lifelong admiration for the Texans is tugging at his heart strings so far in 2012 but he's not quite sure. Tough to jump ship on the Gmen after such a great performance last night.

I'm sure he was wearing his Matt Schaub jersey and his Eli Manning jersey is hanging up next to his Cam Newton jersey....the RGIII jersey is on order....

Shane Morris will soon be crapping his pants and going into a fetal position as Spence, Washington, Schutt, Bosa etc bear down on him.

Kids got a big mouth. I watched him get smashed by Ignatius, it was a great sight. I'm hoping he and Bosa are on different teams in the UA game so he gets a little taste of the future.
