And here the NC2A goes again, picking like crazy at the tweet & memorabilia-sized splinters in one school's eye, while never taking notice of the Cam Newton-sized spike in another. Buncha hypocrites.

Once heard a former Federal prosecutor at a seminar talking about how to keep your clients out of jail. She pointed out that the vast majority of prosecutions are the "low hanging fruit" or, in other words, the easy cases where the evidence is easy to find and prove. The NCAA obviously operates in a similar fashion. Gold pants sales, guys crashing on other players' couches (Idaho) or telephone use (Indiana basketball) was easy to prove. Proving hookers on boats (Miami) or cash to a parent's religious institution (Auburn), or $100 handshakes is not.

Mcray would have been in junior high when Roundtree left Trotwood. I can't imagine they do that much hanging together.
Maybe not, but it's not difficult to see a situtation where Roundtree goes home for a spell or catches a HS game during a bye week. I'm sure he knows of any D-1 talent that passes through the halls of his old school.

This happens everywhere and has been going on for as long as there has been sports.

Cmon now, they dinged Bama for selling textbooks. You cannot expect them to monitor that AND t-town hookups.

ESPN - RR starting over at Arizona

He processed the agony and the pride in seeing his Michigan team, the one that went 15-22 over three seasons during his tenure, go 11-2 and win the Sugar Bowl.
"I thought our time was coming and we didn't get to finish the job," Rodriguez said. "It's like you made a cake from scratch and put it in the oven. Someone else is putting the icing on and eating it."
