17 #B1G bowl wins over SEC since 1998 nearly doubles other BCS AQ conferences – Big East (9), ACC (8), Big 12 (8), Pac-12 (0)

RT @B1Gfootball: In an era when SEC will win 8 titles in 14 years, #B1G teams have gone 17-20 against the SEC, most wins of any conference

Not bad for the worst conference to have ever played football

Michael Dyer granted conditional release‎ - The Auburn Plainsman
Dyer was “temporarily removed from the team” early December, and since then, there had been speculation he would not return to the football team in 2012.

The first team All-SEC running back is currently 5th on Auburn’s all-time leading rushing list with 2,335 yards.

Onterio McCalebb and Tre Mason picked up the slack for Dyer in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, rushing for 109 and 57 yards respectively.

McCalebb is eligible to forgo his senior year and might take a chance at the NFL Draft in April.

If he does, Auburn’s running backs will have gone to a definite strength in 2012 to a question mark.
According to reports, Arkansas State, coached by former Auburn offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn, was one of the schools Dyer was released to.
