Very tough division, probably the second best in baseball behind the AL East. Realistically, the Phillies, Braves, Marlins, and maybe even the Nationals could win this division. If Washington gets big years out of Morse, Werth, and Gio Gonzalez, they could make a lot of noise and maybe even grab one of those two extra wild card spots.

You just said...what??? :drunks:

 I think the Nats can compete for a wild card spot maybe...but their rotation isn't deep enough and their hitters aren't high enough average guys to win the division. Where they are underrated is really their bullpen, which I think really could be pretty good.

I think this one comes down to the Phils and Marlins...the Braves don't have enough hitting.

Hence why I said maybe. Strong, strong emphasis on maybe. :wink2:

I know it's kind of out there, and they're probably 2 or 3 years away from real contention (especially in this division), but every year you kind of have that team or two that surprises people. I think it's the Nats and Blue Jays this year.
