Burke aside, talking trash to Darius is comical given who else starts for Michigan. I think Smotz gets worse with every possession.

Edit: yes I know Morgan starts, I just am amazed at how consistently Smotz lowers the bar.

Should be a good game. Sparty will have the rest advantage it would seem. This game has been well in hand for awhile now, I'm surprised Matta has left most his starters in for so long.

He basically pulled all of the starters with 5 minutes to go. You must not watch must college basketball, because rarely do you see a coach pull his starters any earlier than that, except for maybe non-conference games. Certainly it doesn't happen in the semis of a conference tournament, no matter how overmatched the opponent (here, scUM) may be.
