Loathing All Things Georgia
Played the first of three against the hated co-Canes of Miami at their place. Lots of bad blood between the programs. We've knocked them out of post season three years in a row. :banger:

Tonight the good guys took the first game at Mark Light Stadium 7-5. Randle gets the win, with Maddox for the save. Nice start. The Canes are ranked 8th I think, and they'd love to knock us off.

not my fault UF is trying to be just like Florida St.
lofty rankings, solid regular season, then forget how to play when it matters most.

Yeah. Being in the College World Series Championship Final twice since 2005 shows an absolute lack of heart - since it is easy to get there. We suck.

we've WON the Finals since then.
because we don't choke when we get there.

that's why we have more baseball titles in just the last 22 years than Florida does Football, basketball, and baseball COMBINED in their entire history.

Nut is bringing out the big guns today. I'll go on record as saying, I'm going to enjoy walking over to the UF baseball games this season. Great rotation and a really good lineup.

I went to the UF-Cal State Fullerton opener and watched as about 30 MLB scouts were in the stands watching Tucker, Zunino and whichever of the pitchers were up. Should be a great season. I do have to say though, with pretty much 3+ 1st round talents and several other MLB talents, this Gator team has no excuses to not win the world series. They are the most talented team in the country.

Let me translate Cajun:

"We had a run of baseball titles back in the hot bat and chemically juiced days, but we haven't had a basketball title since the 1930s to Florida's recent two. Also, we have two football championships in fifty years to Florida's three...and when I say 'we don't choke when we get there', that means I missed the last game with Alabama..."

On the positive side, they will never strip you of your American Association of Universities membership.
