I don't know why anyone who knows their stuff would feel UK's draw was tough. You look at the "best" teams in the region by seed, you have Duke who is in my opinion a weak #2 seed, and Baylor, a team that has toughness issues, as your #3. Now, UK fans might gripe about potentially playing the team they lost to last year in the tournament in their second game, and the one team they lost to this season prior to today (Indiana) is in the top half of their region as well. But I don't think IU is very tough away from home.
