Note - Troy Stoudermire has been granted a 6th year by the NCAA, so he should be back at Minnesota.

Legends

Iowa
...

Michigan
- September 1 in Arlington. Alabama. This might be Michigan?s chance to make a statement on a national scale and come up with the type of win that would lead the way to a BCS title run, but the Tide isn?t going to dip much, if at all, and it could put a sting on what should be a special season before Labor Day. The defensive line has to replace heart-and-soul tackle Mike Martin and running mate Will Heininger, and center David Molk was a key part of a good offensive front. Junior Hemingway was Denard Robinson?s No. 1 target and Kevin Koger was a strong all-around tight end who?ll be missed.

Michigan State
- The defense should be good, but the offense has to rebuild the passing attack. RB Le?Veon Bell is a big, strong running back to work around, but the passing game should take a major step back with the loss of QB Kirk Cousins and the terrific receiving trio of B.J. Cunningham, Keith Nichol, and Keshawn Martin. Most of the big games are in East Lansing, but the schedule has the potential to be nasty starting Boise State to kick things off and with Notre Dame, Ohio State, Iowa, and Nebraska to go along with road games at Michigan and Wisconsin.

Minnesota
...

Nebraska
- It?s obviously a new year with plenty of big changes, but the Huskers will face three 2011 conference champions ? Southern Miss, Arkansas State, and Wisconsin ? in the first four games, and the rest of the first half of the slate is hardly a breeze going to UCLA, Ohio State, Northwestern, and Michigan State to go along with a date with Michigan. Penn State, Minnesota, and at Iowa represents the easy part of the schedule. The defense should be a rock with a little bit of work, but it loses heart-and-soul linebacker Lavonte David, and future NFL shutdown corner Alfonzo Dennard.

I think sparty will take it, again this year. I now they lost Cousins, but their rb's and wr's are fantastic. Their defense is also solid.

Sparty lost all 3 of their receivers: Cunningham, Martin, and Nichol.

Everyone in this division is still technically alive. Nebraska has a huge edge right now, though, with wins over Northwestern and Michigan.

This week's Nebraska @ Michigan State will tell a lot. A win here for Nebraska and they would just have PSU, Minnesota, and Iowa, and could even afford losing one of those games and still win the division.

If Michigan State wins, assuming all the other favored teams win, then the division could look like this after next week.

Michigan 4-1
Nebraska 3-2
Northwestern 3-2
Iowa 2-3
Michigan State 3-3
Minnesota 1-4

With Northwestern still playing Michigan and Michigan State, and the chance that Iowa may be 3-2 with a win at Indiana this weekend, which would mean that they are right back in it, this division could get pretty crazy if Nebraska loses to Michigan State this weekend, at that point it still could be anybody's.
