2012 B1G Leaders Division Race

Yeah, so the four eligible teams are now 1-6 in conference play.

Purdue or Wisconsin get W #2 this week. Barring an upset, that is the only win those four teams get this week.

As a decent human being, I was rooting for the wheels to come off in Pedo Valley. If they continue to play well, I could easily see the eligible teams going 1-7 against OSU and PSU.

I am now rooting for total chaos. Maybe a 6-6 (3-5) Boilermakers in the championship game.

Yeesh. I don't know. None of the remaining eligible teams look good at all.

The winner of Wisconsin/Purdue this weekend will be in pretty good shape relative to the scrap heap of eligible teams left for the division crown.

Front runner Wisconsin @ 2-1. Remaining schedule:

Minn - W
MSU - L
@ Ind - W
OSU - L
@ PSU -L

That puts them at 4-4. Minn, MSU, and PSU I could see going either way. Even if Purdont beats us this week I don't see any hope for them to win out.

Right now Delaney and Co are PRAYING for an 8-4 team to come out of the Leaders. Ladies and Gents, the B1G!!

Am I missing something here? Isnt OSU the front runner for the division at 3-0 followed by PSU at 2-0?

Great comment:

DEVASTATINGLY DISAPPOINTING CONFERENCE
30. Big Ten.Michigan and Michigan State have five combined losses, and Nebraska might be a lesser team than either of them; so much for that gripping Legends race. The other division has Ohio State?which isn?t even eligible for the postseason?and a whole lot of nothing.

Penn State + Illinois + Indiana + Purdue + Wisconson = whole lot of nothing....:slappy:

Also,

QUARTERBACKS

17. Braxton Miller, Ohio State. His coach wouldn?t want to hear him described as a one-man gang, but let's not kid around here?Miller, who has rushed for over 130 yards a game and has 11 passing TDs and nine rushing, is as one-man gang as it gets.
