2011 What Are You Playing/Looking Forward To?

Playing:

  • COD Black Ops
  • Fallout New Vegas - haven't played it in a while

Want:

  • Killzone 3
  • Uncharted 3
  • Homefront - mainly for the story line of the single player, the US being invaded by Korea sounds interesting. I'm probably going to rent this
  • Battlefield 3 - definetly going to try and rebuild my pc for this. There is no way I'm going to try and play another BF game on a console, especially when the pc version is going to support 64 vs 64 person servers. The Frostbite engine is being upgrade to version 2 as well. Sometimes I like it, but an entirely destructible environment sucks when you have idiots who just want to destroy every building.
  • MLB The Show 2011 - Should be funner because my roommates are big baseball fans so having someone to play other than the PC will be nice.
This will be the first year in a long time but I am not buying NCAA Football. I get sucked into the pre game hype every year and end up getting bored with the game. I like the online dynasties, but I don't have the time to participate.
I'm switching over to a ps3 from here on out. My little brother wanted either of the systems and I chose to keep the ps3 mainly for the blu-ray.

Reading a little bit about LA Noire; Rockstar's next game. A different style game where you investigate murders in 1947 LA. Not sure if I am going to get it yet, but Rockstar hasn't let me down recently.

I'm currently playing:
NCAA 11
Assassins Creed Brotherhood
Red Dead (just starting, waiting to finish AC first)
Fallout Vegas (PC, haven't played in awhile, but will pick it up soon)

looking forward to:
Masters
NCAA 12 (likely, I'm still playing 11, so I guess i don't hate it)
Elder Scrolls V (think it's due out Nov. next year).

I'm kinda burned out on shooters atm.

I can't really tolerate the game play anymore, and every time I play I end up getting in a bad mood.

I'm the same way, but I don't want to quit the OD. there's a lot of problems with the gameplay that I hope they fix for next year

Well there is every year lol. I can put up with it most of the time for the OD. I just get tired of the same crap happening all the time.

One of the things I hate the most is how the computer has so many abilities the user doesn't. There is so many animations the computer uses that I've never seen my players do. They also break tackles left and right.
