Predictably, mgoblog can barely contain its glee with the current OSU situation.

This, in a nutshell, is why I loathe all things UM--totally ignoring the whole, you know, glass houses and rampant speculation points, this smacks of sour grapes from supporters of a program that has been trounced by OSU in just about every college sport for upwards of the past ten years. Hypocritical crybabies doesn't even begin to approach an apt description for that delusional fanbase.
As for the "article" linked above, I can save you clicking on it. It attempts to paint Tressel/OSU in a negative light by coming up with what the author believes to be a lengthly list of transgressions. The problem is, the list (1) isn't very long, (2) contains nothing from 2005-2010, (3) relies in large part on Clarett accusations (of course, in typical UM fashion, failing to note that nothing ever came of those allegations--but, hey, that's how they roll at UM, I guess), (4) contains thinly veiled accusations that Tressel and/or OSU must have committed some kind of violation with respect to AJ Hawk and Nick Mangold, simply because those two had some valuables when they were robbed (speculation is a funny thing, huh?), (5) contains a story from a "former NFL agent" that claims Holmes was on the take in '05 (of course, mgoblog doesn't mention anything about OSU or Tressel being involved, despite the theme of the article), (6) contains a reference to the tat-gate story, (7) states that because gold pants charms are on ebay right now "from as recently as 2009--which means there's a fair chance the players in question are still on the team" (again, let's speculate the worst even though there is no factual basis for it--otherwise, there's no article, is there)? and (8) the Troy Smith deal.
So essentially, we have (A) a lot of speculation, (B) $500 to Troy Smith, (C) and tat-gate. Not nearly as bad as UM fans want to believe in 10 years, IMO.
