Adios
I know this is early, but something big happened today..

Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha's contract voided and he will be allowed to become a free agent without the Oakland Raiders being able to use their franchise tag on him, Raiders senior executive John Herrera confirmed Sunday.

Asomugha?s deal included a little-known clause that said his contract would void if he didn?t achieve his not-likely-to-be-earned incentives in 2010 -- and he didn'?t.

He's going to make a ton of money. Champ Bailey will be a FA in the offseason, so I figure Denver will make a big push. SF probably will too. I bet about half the teams in the league will, he's the best corner in the league imo. Top two, at worst.

Nnamdi actually tackles compared to Revis. He's a physical presence in the run game and obviously has his man blanketed.

He's large enough to play FS should he lose a step in the next couple years.

Damn Brownies better we willing to toss $$ out. This would make this a very lethal secondary. Possibly one of the best in the NFL.

Break the fucking bank Holmgren. Revis gets all the press, but Asomugha is just as good and still in his prime.

Asomugha was better this year. Nnamdi had one of those seasons that Champ Bailey had when he was in his prime. Something ridiculous like they only threw at him about 7 times.

this was from Dec. 27th...shows just how dominant he has been this year
Nnamdi Asomugha said he felt as good Sunday as he has at any point since he originally sprained his ankle in Week 8.
It showed on the field. Reggie Wayne made just one catch for 14 yards against Asomugha yesterday and that came on a pick play. In 13 games this year, the shutdown corner has allowed just 10 receptions for 156 yards and no touchdowns on 27 passes thrown his way. It's an epic, difference-making season for one of the game's best players.

Screw the Clowns until the traitorous Lerner family has sold the team.

I'd love to see him here in Minnesota opposite Winfield! That would be awesome and we'd put Griffin in for the nickel packages.

7, 27, same thing right? I think Champ did have a year in the single-digits though. But then again, Champ is the best corner the league has ever seen. Nnamdi could be up there when all is said and done. Hopefully a team I like gets him.

Watch NE get him...
