Only kidding, I think the new software may need debugging. I couldn't log on for the last two hours. It may be fixed by now.

We may have to go back and put thing back together. The last time I was logged on I believe the Texans had picked.

What the hell, we skipped picks even though there was a problem? There was no schedule put up for picks yesterday and the Titans start today off as being skipped. Whoever is posting all the PM picks is jumping the gun and messed up on this one.

I've been helping out with keeping the draft board updated. Yesterday afternoon a draft order for the 4th round was posted after some initial technical problems (The order is still on the thread). Picks were made and posted. But between last night and this morning, picks were lost. Why? System failure. Data didn't transfer. Could be anything with 'puters. Most owners were PMed and some were not (owners who got their picks in or PMed a list of players to be drafted). I looked at your PM list and realized I did not contact you that it was your pick. I apoligize for that and hope it did not screw up who you were looking to draft.

Let's pause for the compensatory picks, but we need everyone to Pm us with a top - 8 for their team. That way once they are all in, we can zip through the picks since most teams are targeting different needs and guys this late in the draft. You can always submit a new list but this will help keep things moving.

This might be a dumb question, but before I check out who is available and who I want on the board, does every team get compensatory pick(s) and what if any is the selection order?

They are compensating for personnel losses, so when you lose a high priced player to another squad, you might get a 3rd round pick at the end of that round.

A mid priced departure might be worth a 4th or 5th rd pick. And really, these are really more like a start of the next round pick since they follow all of the regular picks in that round.

You might not get any compensatory picks or you might get four.

They are typically announced this week at the coaches meetings.

WOW, don't tell me this is still going on. :p

For the effort that everyone has put in there should be a vDollar prize for the team (i.e. person) that actually selected the most players that the NFL team picked in the real NFL draft.
