So are we just doing a mock draft and drafting with current rosters?

Are we drafting with last years results as well?

I may have become dumber when I moved to Florida, but I really can't find a decent discussion of the Mock Draft rules... The Jaguars need me to find success!! yargh.

Any help? Greenies for a breakdown!

we will use real-life rosters to draft our teams. We like to look back at past drafts to see how we did, and sometimes it is fun to compile 3-5 years worth of picks to see what kind of talent we brought in, but since each draft ignores the mock drafts, they do not build towards a very balanced team.

stowfan and others can provide a general breakdown. We will finalize the rules during the week before the draft, like any slight changes to time between picks and the like.

The web is loaded with mock drafts, and listings of draft prospects. Some of the sites will list, the current needs of each team. Most of the team needs, are very similar, maybe not in the same order, but if you look at 2 or 3 you will have a good idea of what you are after.

Look at your team's current roster, and look for your team's needs. Prepare a list of 10 or so players your team should/would take in the first round. PM Jwins with this list early next week. This is to insure that, if you are not on line for the draft, your pick can be made, and not hold up the draft.

By way of example, I have the Colts, and they need to rebuild the O-line, and find at least one D-linemen. The colts could also use a linebacker, and DBs.
Knowing there are 4 OTs rated as first round picks, that is where my list will begin.
