This game was winnable for USF - they played solidly at the defensive end. They puckered up bigtime at the offensive end though, with the timeout that wasn't coming as the coup de grace.

Gonzaga will face St. Mary's tomorrow night for the WCC automatic bid.

Someone at the Colonial (CAA) final between VCU and ODU thought it would be really cool to have a fog machine on the floor during introductions. The game was delayed several minutes just seconds after tip off while several people crawled around on the floor with towels, cleaning up the mess. :lol:

ODU leads by 10 late in the first half, to the delight of bubble teams nationwide.

Now the ODU mascot gets banished for throwing baby powder on the floor. :lol:

The Monarchs are pulling away, up 18 early in the second.

Iona beat St. Peter's by double digits twice during the season, so of course "S-P-C!" has led the whole way tonight in the MAAC final. Time is running out on the Gaels.

You might want to switch back. VCU has cut an 18 point lead down to 7 with 11 minutes left.

I'm thinking they needed to try that a little sooner. They average 80 ppg and needed a quicker pace. Might be too little, too late.
