beat up on Alcorn Wednesday night 7-1.

weather permitting, we start a 3 game set with Auburn tonight in the The Box.

we can't pussy foot around any more. we need some sweeps.

got to sweep these assholes this wekend, and Kentucky 2 weeks from now, plus win a minimum of 2 against Vandy in between and Bama in 3 weeks to even sstay in the race.

came into the weekend needing a series win at a minimum, but really could have used a sweep.

instead we win 1 fucking game.
we are probably the worst team in the SEC.

i really don't ever remember an LSU baseball team worse than this one.

defense has been shaky at best since day one.
BA with RISP has got to be below the Mendoza line (possibly WAY below it)
Relief pitching is atrocious
I don't trust either closer
Mid-week starting pitchers is a crap shoot.
Coach Mainieri has lost his mojo
Can't find a decent leadoff hitter.

our Friday and Saturday starters are the only bright spot on entire team.

and now our starting right fielder (Mason Katz),is out at least 3 weeks with a broke hand.

He's one of our top 2 RBI guys on the team.

Jiimy Dykstra, Spencer Ware, or current DH Raph Rhymes are the most likel candidates to replace him.

What the fuck did we do to piss off the baseball gods this year?

Watkins moves from LF to DH

the ass whipping we took last night (11-3)? or the ass whipping we took today (10-1)?

21-4 over two games!

I checked out emotionally when it was 8-1 today.
we're finished. no postseason.

no sec tourney, no regional, no omaha.
we're fucking done.

this is downright embarrassing.
it hurts to even listen to the games.
you can hear it in Hawthorne and Hanigriff voices when they're calling the games.

it's fucking brutal.

I'm not 100% convinced. I'd like to see them try though. Not to try and catch a team when they are struggling, but it would be nice to be competitive with a program like LSU.

OK I do hope i am wrong. I just would love to see OSU be a more national program.
