Who wins and drinks the milk this weekend?

Does anybody really care who wins this race any more? In my opinion after the (now defunct) CART and Indy Car split in 1996, this race really went down hill and has never fully recovered. I'd almost rather hear the scUM band play "Hail To The Victors" than hear Gomer sing "Back Home Again In Indiana"....almost. They both really suck:

Agree script. The Indy 500 used to be one of my favorite sporting events of the year. Now... I couldn't care less.

I agree that it's lost some luster after the Cart split, but it's still my favorite race and I look forward to it every year, got to go to my first Indy 2 years ago, and had a blast, would go again

Got hung up passing that last lapped car... He could have probably stayed behind that car, and crossed the finish line easily. Instead we get the same old winner, in yet another Indy 500. Yawn.

yea, i was hopin he would win, but coming that close...goes to show also how much experience is worth at the end, should know if you have to high at indy, you're screwed

also happy for Brayn Herta (the owner) loved him as a driver

Unbelievable race...crushing for JR. The hell man?

As usual, saw/met a ton of Buckeyes. Including Jim Tressel's nephew. Sweet.

Also a noticeably larger amount of Tribe gear.

Time to go watch the time delay replay and wait until next year.
