The Gators lost to Florida State 3-5 on Tuesday in Tampa. They face another in-state rival in the Miami Hurricanes on Friday in Gainesville.
lies. nothing but lies. :pissed:

The Noles have to have had the best teams for the longest stretch of any non-successful CWS program. They tear it up every year and then tank in the regionals or CWS. One wonderful year they beat us twice in the regular season, and we made it to the CWS just to beat them twice before we got launched.

Congrats to the Semis.

Senior Bryson Smith manned up with a pinch-hit RBI single in the eighth to score the gators' (and game's ) only run, as Florida (9-1) edged the Co-Caines (4-6), 1-0, on Saturday afternoon, winning the series. 4,851 fans saw the win. Soph Hudson Randall and Jr. Anthony DeSclafani combined to one-hit those mofos. :banger:

Oh. And the Poodles beat #5 FSU. Thanks Woofster.

The #1 ranked Gators host #4 and defending Champs South Carolina this weekend.

From TheGatorZone

Riding the crest of a 10-game winning streak, the longest in Kevin O'Sullivan's four-year tenure, No. 1 Florida (20-2/3-0 SEC) hosts 2010 NCAA College World Series Champion No. 4 South Carolina (16-4/2-1 SEC) in a three-game series at McKethan Stadium. The teams will meet at 7 p.m. both Friday and Saturday (FOX Sports Florida) and wrap up the set on Sunday at 1 p.m. (Sun Sports). All three games will be carried live on GatorVision Online.

The Gators opened league play last weekend with their first-ever sweep at No. 5 LSU, while the Gamecocks rallied from a 4-2 setback in game one to Georgia by defeating the Bulldogs twice in Columbia, 2-1 and 8-3, to claim the series. Already off to the best start in the program's 97-year existence, UF's stretch of 10 wins in a row is its longest streak since setting a school record with 14-straight triumphs from Feb. 21-March 14, 2004.
