Yes, he ends up as a gunner on Buchanan's final punt. I'll have to go back to the first punt tomorrow but Gambrell wasn't in for the second punt.

He is also on the kick coverage team after the score to make it 35-0. For whatever reason, Clarke wasn't in, Wood moved over and Gambrell filled the vacancy. The other six kickoffs had Clarke/Wood in their normal roles.

but according to the participation reports (which have been known to be wrong), Hayes and Brown played in the Miami game (page 24 of link below)..can anyone confirm if that saw either of them actually play?

Hayes was listed one of the first two games also, I think the software confuses him with Heuerman. Heck, this week's game notes has a participation chart listing Herron as playing vs. UM. Don't know about Brown though as he's the only 55. I don't really feel up to watching UM again, but feel free. Werlinrm's torrents make it easy, thanks man.

I'll wait until after the bowl game to finalize this, but we've got 15 guys that looked like they've played at this point. The 'official' information isn't always accurate, which is proven by them showing DeVier Posey playing in the Nebraska game. :tongue2:
