9 AB 4 walks 2 RBI's at the plate. Couple of errors in the field. He acts like he belongs here as far as I can tell. Playing behind a real strong 2nd baseman in LaStella.

Dropped one to Kent State 2-0 yesterday in a very well pitched game on both sides, Andrew Chafin from Kent State was very, very good. Beat the Domers today 4- 3, and finish up the weekend with UAB in Myrtle Beach tomorrow. 10-5, but should be better.

Won two at San Diego 8-3 and 6-0. Lost the first two at Pepperdine 2-1 and 2-1. Behind today 4-1 in the fifth. Haven't been swept since Miami Fla. about 7 years ago....

Finished losing to Pepperdine 7-1. We beat the Citadel 6-5 then managed to lose two out of three to UNC Asheville. Had won 30 some league games in a row up until last weekend. All is not lost though, the guys played really well in losing to the Texas Rangers yesterday in an exhibition at the beach 6-2. 4 of the runs actually came off of Rangers pitchers, they threw their own guys from the 5th on. We have three this weekend with Liberty, pretty important for both teams. Sat. game is on EspinU, they're supposed to do some filming in the new indoor batting cage we're finishing soon.

Took Liberty 3 straight. 17-1, 5-4. 5-4. Lost to Clemson 4-5 in 10. Beat Presbyterian 7-1 on Fri. and 15-3 yesterday. One more with them today and to 1/2 Virginia on Wednesday. 20-11 overall, 6-2 in conference. While not up to expectations, I still feel we will be really strong by the end of the year, if not a hosting one seed a very dangerous two, at home or on the road.

Lost to Virginia 8-7 in the bottom of the ninth. Beat Gardner Webb Friday 7-4 and Sat. night 8-3. One more with them today and then to UNC on Tues. and The Citadel at home on Wed. 23-12. Low to mid. 50's in Sim. RPI and moving up.

Well, finished the regular season 37-18, exactly 10 games off of last years pace and Coach Gilmore said he knows where each one of those losses are. He won his 900 by the way, Tuesday night Link
Won the Big South reg. season and 1 seed in the tournament. Might need to win it to get a bid although it's close and I think we deserve one either way. Six seniors played their last game at home yesterday and won it. Those guys have won a lot of baseball games and we're all proud of them. Now it's time to finish... Something like this...

To a lot of people around here game**** in any form would be fighting words. (used to be a branch of USC) They don't think a lot of a Chanticleer in Columbia either, and they aren't too interested in playing any baseball in the regular season, here or there.
