2011 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Baseball

And this one belongs to the Reds!
  • 2-0

9-6 on Friday over Boston College
    6-2 Sat. over Tennessee Tech

Two today, Indiana at 12 and Virginia Tech to follow. Weather has been great and the attendance Friday was 1300 plus. I know it doesn't sound like much but it's way over capacity here.

Won the Va Tech. game 6-5 last Sun. Went down 5-4 to K State this afternoon. Cal. tomorrow. Western Kentucky Sat. and NC State Sunday. The team is really young and youthful mistakes are hurting, pitching is good and the new bats are troublesome I think.

Hey Coastal- Your boy Sappelt is having a great spring for the Reds!

I don't think he'll be able to stick at the MLB level yet but he sure has gotten everyone's attention. He goes down and plays well no telling how fast he might make it back up.

The 3 headed monster in LF for Cincy isn't much to write home about.
