I don't really care one way or the other, but splitting them up based on last years results would be interesting. "Seed" them so to speak.

Div 1 - 1, 3, 5

Div 2 - 2, 4, 6, 7, 8

Pretty even, even if I'm stuck with starbucks again.

How would we do this? Obviously it would be a reverse seeding, so 8th place gets the easiest path, 1st place gets the toughest... but I'm honestly not sure how to figure that out.

I was thinking overall record would be better than playoff finish, since anyone can get hot or have a bad week (down with playoffs! BCS! BCS!).

Maybe something like this.

Division 1

1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9

Division 2

4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12

... or something ...

Thinking about the playoffs.......would you guys rather have 2 divisions or just have the top 8 overall teams make the playoffs? Even though it will be set up as divisions on Athlon, we can set up the playoffs anyway we want to, since we hold them on BP.

Perhaps top-2 from each and 6 wild cards? That way imbalanced divisions won't lead to any NFC West style playoff bids.
