Kansas and Duke both failed to make their tourney final. Mizzou and UNC are both playing in their final. If they go down MSU-OSU could be for a 1 seed.

Go Baylor, go Florida State. :biggrin:

Meh, I would be ok with it but everything I've heard up to this point is that the 1 seeds are pretty much locked up. The other thing is that our game is the latest and the selection show will probably be making their decisions before we are finished.

I agree with the majority sentiment, just tossing the options out there.

I still think we had a better overall team last year, but despite being - supposedly - the number 1 overall seed we got the draw from hell.

I'd gladly be a 2 seed with a more favorable draw this year. As Bob Knight said earlier tonight, whether you are a 1 or a 2 really doesn't matter, it is more important that you get match ups that work for you.

Frankly, I still don't think we match up all that well with Sparty, but in the big picture that's not nearly as important as who we draw tomorrow night.

According to Jerry Palms bracketology, fwiw, we would get the #1 seed now in Kansas' bracket and they would be the #2. I'm perfectly fine with that. I want Kansas again anyway so whether they are 1 or we are, as long as thats our bracket I'll feel pretty good about it.

For this team... I want nothing more for them to Win today and get the shaft from the selection committee and get placed as a #2 seed.... Hopefully it will piss them off enough that they play like they have the past couple of games throughout the tourney

Only want 2 seed if we are in Mizzu's bracket
