from what i've heard, the guy that took them fishing was an Auburn booster.

prolly was trying to get them suspended/ruled inelligible.

Yeah - he also claimed he didn't know who Julio Jones was. That was hard to believe.

Why there is no stiff arm reference in the title of the video is a crime. He was like a man among boys on that run.

Indeed. He had the best stiff arm of any college RB I've ever seen. This is my personal favorite, however--notice he engages the defender at about the 6 yard line and then just pushes him about 5 yards deep into the end zone. If it weren't for the fact that the field is only 100 yards long, he might still be pushing that Wisconsin defender.

Woof, any inside info? Is this likely just more of the same type of thing about possible contact from agents/runners?

edit - speculation is that it's A.J. Green, but he denies being at that party in Miami.

NCAA to conduct inquiry on Georgia campus

ATLANTA -- Georgia associate athletic director Claude Felton says the NCAA has requested permission to conduct an inquiry on campus.

Felton says Georgia officials assured the NCAA it will receive full cooperation. He says the NCAA has asked that athletic association officials, coaches and student-athletes decline comment until the inquiry is completed.

Felton says the notification from the NCAA came late Wednesday afternoon. He tells the Associated Press the instructions from the NCAA prevent him from disclosing any details about the reason for the inquiry.

The inquiry comes as three SEC teams -- Florida, Alabama and South Carolina -- are investigating allegations involving improper contact with an agent.

Yes sir.
All reports from Bulldog land indicate the the NCAA got a report from an "unnamed source" saying that AJ Green was at the infamous party in South Beach. The same party that Marcel Dareus of Alabama had attended.

At his SEC media day conference, CMR was mum on the subject and said the school is confident nothing happened so they're helping the NCAA in any way possible.

Green has said he spent time with his fam in Summerville, SC during the night the party took place and his teammates twitter accounts are teasing him by saying "That country boy ain't never been to South Beach!"

BB73 - nobody is too concerned about this. It's all due dillengence from here.

Not since Fulmer left and Kiffin quit.

I remember all the Fulmer Bama stuff and thats why I think that way.... from the casual observer that knows a little about the past you see all this coming out... Bama, UF, Cocks and now UGA It looks like a bunch of internal SEC finger pointing.... I suspect nothing will come out of this

To be honest, this is the worst it has been in decades, lack of hate wise. When things were rocking in the 90s, Spurrier was in feuds with whatever Mutt coach was coaching them, Fulmer and Bama were feuding, Auburn and Bama always, Fulmer & Spurrier had no love lost, and LSU hated Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida and Bama, while barely tolerating Tennessee.

It is like a sickening love fest now. Too many people respect each other these days.

It's because the coaching in the league is far, far superior to the 1990's. Everyone has a quiet confidence about themselves and therefore doesn't snipe much at their opponents.

5 Coaches have National Championships or Coordinators on NC teams
6 have BCS game victories

In the 90's everyone had a inferiority complex to "Darth Visor" and Fulmer because nobody had accomplished anything. Mike Dubose? Ray Goff? Gary DiNardo? Clowns all around.

I'd argue that in the 1990's - outside of Spurrier, Terry Bowden was the best coach in the league.
