Have you guys seen Dusin Johnson play hole number 5? It is a double dog leg 598yd par five. As the crow flies it is only about 500 yards, but it is a 340 yard carry over water, heather and bunkers to cut the dog leg. Johnson has hit SW and PW in there the first two days. That guy is so long it is sick. For comparison, Ernie had 250 in and DJ had 158 and they were in the same group.

He just hit an 8-iron over 220 yards in the air. It was a little wind-aided, but his distances are unbelievable.

Two 49:1 shots and a "field" player are heading to a three-hole playoff to decide it.

Wait a minute. Looks like Dustin Johnson may be eliminated for grounding his club in a shitty excuse for a bunker on 18. People were fucking standing in it while he was hitting.

If he's out, that'll leave Kaymer and Bubba to fight for the trophy.

It certainly looked like a waste bunker to me. The rules official should have let him know if it was a bunker or not before he hit the shot. There is no lip so in my mind....not a hazard...

If it's this hard to determine, and he clearly gained no advantage, I think it'll be bullshit if they take him out for it.

I've never seen fans standing in a bunker, if it is one, during a shot so apparently no one knew it was such at the time.

And there is live grass within the "lip area" of the bunker. The lip is not clearly defined and as you said he didn't gain an advantage....
