Wanna post it as a weekly new sticky thread like last year? I think that worked well.

Done.

Each poll is also linked in the 'Sticky thread with links to other key threads' sticky thread in this forum.

That thread has links to each week's game threads, BP previews, BP polls, Pick'em contests, etc.

Here's mine. Once again, it's NOT an expectation of where teams will finish at the end of the year - I have a lot of volatility in the first few weeks. Despite winning, Texas earned a small drop, and Florida and Oklahoma earned big ones.

And there are several teams that will jump Boise State in my poll if they remain undefeated, based on strength of schedule. But right now, Boise State has a high quality road win that almost nobody else has.

I moved Iowa up a bit for a nice win, Boise State went up quite a bit with the Va-Tech win, though I am quite volatile with dropping teams for bad-wins or bad schedules. Oregon moved up quite a bit for me because Texas, Florida and Oklahoma weren't impressive. The bottom of the poll is just filler teams that I think are good, but I expect to see some teams back in there for me. Currently, I am punishing losses quite a bit, there is no sense for me in keeping teams ranked that lost (even to top-10 teams). If a school is still undefeated for me in the beginning of the year, they shall be ranked over a team with a loss.

Rank Team
1 Ohio State
2 Alabama
3 Nebraska
4 Boise State
5 Iowa
6 Oregon
7 Oklahoma
8 Florida
9 Wisconsin
10 Texas
11 Texas Christian
12 Utah
13 Georgia Tech
14 Florida State
15 Louisiana State
16 Houston
17 Miami (FL)
18 Penn State
19 Auburn
20 Stanford
21 West Virginia
22 Georgia
23 Brigham Young
24 Texas Tech
25 Michigan State

I think that that is how it is supposed to be done. . .

I'm a little bit different than those that are starting the big changes this week. I'm not going to make any huge changes based on Week 1. It's a goofy, goofy week where a lot of teams play teams so lousy that they can't lose and should be reserved for a scrimmage. For instance, Florida played like absolute shit and kept putting themselves behind the 8 ball because they couldn't snap the ball. I don't think they will fumble the 6 or so snaps they did last week all year. Next week, when we see if Week 1 may have been a fluke or reality, is when bigger jumps and drops will come.
