According to the OSUAA 97% of applicants received tickets. Looks like I got Indiana.

I would've rather been in the 3% who got nothing than to get Marshall because I'm just going to sell them and pay for the games I want through a broker or something.

Did I mention the lottery sucks? I may just skip it from now on and just work on getting tickets I want.

Got OU but hoping that I'll still get the Arts and Sciences Alumni tailgate tickets to the Miami game. They cost more because of the tailgate but it was a chance to get 2 games this year without working too hard.

Marshall this year. Don't know if I can make it as it's difficult to get off of work at the beginning of the school year.

Who's the idiot that thought a Thursday night game would be a good idea? I was at the Wyoming game back in 1997, and it just wasn't the same.

Some idiot named Jim Tressel? Who the hell is that guy? :paranoid:

I guess he wasn't at the Wyoming game in '97 or he would know better. If it's best for the team, then so be it. Doesn't change the fact that it sucks for the fans who are in attendance...especially when so many of the tickets for that game are going to be going to out-of-town alumni. So much for the once-a-year, Saturday afternoon in Columbus experience so many of us look forward to every fall.

According to Smith, the fact that school is not yet in session means the decision poses no hardship on players since they do not have to attend classes the day after the game.

Another benefit of OSU going to semesters.

I don't disagree from the fan experience standpoint. That was pretty much my initial reaction in the game thread when the announcement was made. If the coach thinks it's a benefit to the team though, I'm on board with the inconvenience.
