High School 2009 State Playoffs

The G.O.A.T.
Alot of interesting matchups out there.

As far as D1 R1 looks, the games are....

Boardman @ Ignatius

Euclid @ Solon

Parma @ Mayfield

Glenville @ North Royalton

I feel bad for my alma mater, North Royalton, but they'll at least make it competitive.

Second round matchup will have Glenville @ Ignatius, and the winner of that likely getting Solon. Another tough road for anyone to get out of this region. Any predictions? I have to go with Ignatius, they're the best coached team out there. Myers at QB has just been getting better and better, and McVey causes chaos on the other side.

Just heard that Salem beat Granville...

Oh yeah! My hometown Quakers pulled it out. They missed a potential winning FG as time expired, picked up a 4th & 2 in OT, then scored a TD and hung on for dear life, 38-31 final.

First playoff appearance in school history. First playoff victory. Next up: likely Big Red.
