UBet - how ya been sir? Have the Orange and Blue Assasins started up spring ball yet?

I'll share Bulldog reports as they trickle in. Needless to say, alot of non-contact jerseys on the first couple of days. And Georgia has released one young man (2009 commit) from scholarship due to a confrontation at a high school with a teacher. I'd imagine Coach Saban is circling low, or perhaps Dabo Sweeney

If getting into an argument with your chemistry teacher and intimidating the other students is wrong....

Not sure what having a scholly "pulled" means to him NCAA wise. Is it still sit out a year time for him before he can play at another Division I school, even if he never enrolls at UGA? As to Meyer's interest, I don't know anything about the guy other than the article. Is he a kid from a good family with some personal issue right now, or some anger management project that will be a long shot? One of my hs track buddies broke up with his girldfriend and punched out a window of some kid's car in the parking lot. He went to Duke, and the last I knew did fine. But Moody sounds very immature. Color him Tahd is my guess. Now, if he was a DT I'm sure it was just the stress of helping the little crippled kids.

Yep.

Hey Woof - any fire to the "Move the WLOCP to Atlanta every other year" smoke from the AJC?

None whatsoever. UGA AD, Damon Evans said he hasn't given it a second thought (truthful - given his current search for a new Hoops coach).

I'd say a legit 95% of alums are against it for four main reasons:

1. J'Ville has a bigger stadium and it would cut about 2500-4500 tickets per fan base - not cool.
2. The dome is a great facility, but the tailgating around it blows something fierce. The party atmosphere would be destroyed.
3. Most view it as a - "running away with your tail between your legs" type move.
4. Fuck the Atlanta City Council - if they want more money they should invest in cleaning up down town, lease a wing of our GINORMOUS airport or sell their $30 million worth of forest area in Ball Ground, GA. Moving the game to Georgia once every four years isn't going to be this massive influx of money.

**For what it's worth Gator - I'm not opposed to moving the game. I'd actually like to see it in Tampa or Orlando. Little bit bigger towns with slightly warmer weather. I've been to the WLOCP when the weather is rainy and it SUCKS. I just don't want it in the dome and DO NOT want it to go to a home/home series.

Rumor out of Gainesville is that Tebow is taking snaps under center more and that we are golng to put in an I formation package...and a version of the Okie no-huddle to go with it all. Stay tuned for more wild ass, no-source interweb rumors.

Two new looks in which he can unleash the "jump pass" eh ?

I don't doubt the offense will change a bit - but I'll believe it has become more "pro-style" when I see it.

To be honest Gator - I'm more concerned with the wave after wave of talented secondary players not named Wondy Pierre-Louis that Florida seems to have.

Andre' Smith at Bama pro-day.

Not a 4.31 it seems.

But taking off the t-shirt was probably key to his good time.

Scott Loeffler, he of the Mallett, Henne, Navarre, etc statues, was brought in for a reason.

20 observations (at least) from the Florida Gators' first day of spring practice

10. Tebow took snaps from under center for about nine minutes and 52 seconds on Wednesday.

11. Florida ran a few plays in the I-formation during its team drills. Emmanuel Moody was the single back. Moody says he's looking forward to being an all-purpose back this year.

14. LB Brandon Spikes would not confirm rumors that he choked Alajajian during workouts for not giving enough effort. He also didn't deny it.

15. SS Dee Finley looks pretty athletic. My early vote for special teams dynamo of the 2010 season.

An often unheralded factor in the Gators run to the title last year.
Ubet - with Meyer in the driver seat, do you think the Gators will put together a unit that rivals most VaTech special teams units?

Cause that would be gay - they shouldn't do that.
