Beanie helped his stock today, regardless of what the analysts say....especially when you compare his 40 to the other elite backs in the draft.

4.54 is more than respectable for a power runner at 235, and to be honest, Beanie's form was just attrocious.

Being 18 pounds heavier than Knowshon and a tad bit faster does look pretty good. I doubt either of their performances today adjusted their stock. If anything, I would think Knowshons went down. The only thing holding Beanie back is his injury history. Scouts know what he can do when he is healthy.

It looks like he's riding an invisible bike but it works. I think they should so these events with pads on. That's what counts.

Flashback from last year's combine:

Source: Link

One who didn't was the University of Michigan's Mike Hart, who ran 4.67 and 4.69. In his interview with the media Saturday the 5-foot-8?, 206-pound Hart conceded he had to "have a great week" and "run a good 40."

He failed on at least one account.

"I feel sorry for him because he's such a great guy," said a scout. "But he's 5-8 and 4.7. You can forget him."
