Tim Floyd is the Terry Porter of college basketball. The amount of athletes and talent he has, yet he wants a half-court set every time they get possesion.

Dude, you have DeMar Derozan, Taj Gibson, and Daniel Hackett. Maybe playing a 1950's style of bball is going against your ridiculous athletiscism??

He would bitch-slap Hansflopper and make him buy him ice cream. He is unstoppable down low. scUM was double and triple teaming him and he was still sinking those bastards. Just nasty. Only weak point is his free-throw shooting which could hurt against better teams.

I must be different than a lot of people. To me, the best part of the tournament is over - the first round. The further it goes along and the teams you have had shoved down your throat for 4 months are the only ones standing, the less interested I become in the thing.

I've had a few people ask me why I went to Vegas this week instead of the Final Four? The Final Four? Two games, instead of 32, and often one of them turns into a rout. Yeah, I'm flying to Vegas for that. *yawn*

Unless the Buckeyes are going late into the Dance each round becomes less interesting along the way...for me, anyway.

I'm with you. I like the excitement of all the games going on at once and I like watching the teams we don't get overexposed to all year. The first weekend is the best.

Seedings vs picking

FWIW

Historically.. it's uncanny the # of times... the final 16 consists of the 1-2-3-4 seeds... not sure about last year... but I think they may have been perfect in all four regionals...

This year: 1-2-3-4; 1-2-3-4; 1-2-3-5; 1-2-3-12 .. perfect 1-2-3 in all 4 regionals

Historically the biggest upset possibilities in Round 1... are the #5 vs #12; and #8 vs #9

This year.. two out of 4 regionals involve upsets in each of these match ups... two #9s beat #8s; two #12s beat #5s
