2009 BPCFFB League #2 Season Thread

I had to check a couple of times to make sure no one took Tennessee. They might be better than my starting D.

What is the system for waivers? Is it just the first person to post that they are adding so and so?

That's what I planned on going with. Unless someone else has a better idea

If we decide to do the scoring ourselves, I suggest we make a spreadsheet template. Each person can enter their teams data every week. Then the two players who are matched up can swamp spreadsheets after the week and sign-off on each others. We could make deadlines for submitting worksheets.

Thoughts?

So are we just doing the scoring on here and not using a website or what is the status on that?

Unless we can find a site soon, we'll be doing all the scoring on here. I don't have a problem with keeping track of the scoring each week. It shouldn't be too tough.

I like this idea...

That's what I was thinking...are we doing a vcash fee to join? Winner take all? lol

I tweaked the other CFF league's scoring spreadsheet to matchup with a starting line-up of (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, RB/WR, K, D/ST) and using this scoring:

Below are the settings which reused for last year. I assume the point settings will remain the same.

Passing:
1 Point for every 10 Yards
6 Points for every TD
-2 Points for every INT
2 Points for 2 Point Conversion

Rushing:
1 Point for every 10 Yards
6 Points for every TD
2 Points for 2 Point Conversion

Receiving:
1 Point for every reception
1 Point for every 10 Yards
6 Points for every TD
2 Points for 2 Point Conversion

Kicking:
0-49 Yards: 3 Points
50+ Yards: 5 Points
PATs: 1 Point

Defense/Special Teams:
Defensive TDs: 6 points
Punt Return TDs: 6 points
Kickoff Return TDs: 6 points
Safeties: 2 points
Fumbles: 2 points
Interceptions: 2 points
Sacks: 1 point
0 Points allowed: 10 points
2-6 Points allowed: 8 points
7-10 Points allowed: 5 points
11-13 Points allowed: 5 points
14-21 Points allowed: 2 points
22-28 Points allowed: 0 points
29-34 Points allowed: -2 points
35+ Points allowed: -5 points

There are two sheets in the file, so you can calculate your own score and your opponent's score. Pretty much self-explanatory. The only weird section is the scoring for points allowed. Rather than the actual score, you put a "1" in the cell underneath the number of points allowed.

I even changed the color scheme for your opponent's scores so you can feel so much better when you kick their teeth in. :scum4:

If you don't like the layout or see anything that needs to be tweaked, let me know and I'll can mess with it. Keeping score every week really isn't much of a hassle. Some strange people may even enjoy it. (:paranoid:)

Bucky Katt,

I'm extremely disappointed that you've been helpful to any one.

BKB

It's infected with a virus that will cause every player's computer to automatically try to pick Tate Forcier with the player's next pick.

Well played, senor Katt... well played indeed.

And I'm going to ding your ass if you take him with your next pick. He's mine.

I think I'm going to rename my roster of degenerate misfits "QBFORCE". Thoughts?
