2009 BPCFFB Keeper League

I like the reduced points option as well with TD's counting the same. Only using BCS conferences these points are necessary imo. If we were using all the conferences, like the other league, I would say just scrap it and make it easier. Anyways, my vote is for decreased points.

Why again are we starting so early?

I turned my roster in and I'll be ready but doesnt it seem a bit risky to draft players a month before they start with summer conditioning and classes pending?

Brought this question to this thread... and I see his point and I thank you for bringing it up. Last year our draft did not start til July 21st

See, this is what happens when I am too busy at work and the #2 league does their draft ultra early. I don't do one simple thing... check when we had the draft last year.

So, shall we wait a few more weeks and iron everything out (rules wise and schedules and stuff) And also to give us more time to let some fall camps begin.

Only reason I asked that question really was because I havent gotten into football mode yet and if felt "wierd". The Bucks havent started practice yet so I'm still trying to gear up.

The other thing is that if we draft some superstar now and he goes down with an ACL in 3 weeks, before the season starts, thats going to suck royally.

Not counting the week of December 5th (week 14), barely anyone plays that weekend. The last full slate is Week 13 (OSU v Michigan is Week 12 though). So here is how it would look.

Week 1-9 - Round robin schedule, everyone plays each other

Week 10 & 11 - #1 v #4 & #2 v #3 (and Consolation games for draft order)
Week 12 & 13 - Championship Game (and Consolation games for draft order)

LOVE this idea.
